I spent the whole day today wearing a pair of trousers that were quite different to the ones I thought I had on.
I was quite unsettled when I realised.
I will have an early night and hope to put the whole sorry episode behind me.
Ha! How were they wong? I mean, were you wearing shorts in the snow?? Sorry, you want to put this behind you .. xx

DeleteThis is a fine example of my tendency to over-dramatise the teeniest bit of trivia. The trousers were in fact perfectly adequate for the conditions, it was just that as I pulled on my snow boots (for the umpteenth time that day) I realised they were my bootcut jeans - not my skinny jeans as I had thought. I was concerned, for a moment, that my mind had been melded. Derren....?!
If it makes you feel any better - I frequently have no idea who I am!
